Ryley Perry

“I believe that being an educator for young artists goes beyond teaching steps and technique. Dance is about creativity, style, and overall joy, therefore, I strive to encourage my students to find these elements through dance. I feel that the classroom environment should be a safe space where dancers take risks, but also foster young artists to find their personal joy and passion using dance as their medium. I prioritize discipline and strong work ethics to my students so they can understand the importance of perseverance to obtain optimal growth mentally and physically. I believe what makes me a valuable teacher is that I am also still a student where I experience a variety of teachings strategies. I find it extremely important for there to be new discoveries in every class or lesson as a student and as a teacher.  I am confident in my teaching philosophy where dancers grow, learn and enjoy all the valuable lessons dance has to offer.”
